Where evolution is taught in the U.S.

Many people think that resistance to evolution is driven entirely by conservative religious doctrine. That doesn't seem to be the case if we are to believe the research by Lawrence S. Lerner of California State University at Long Beach.
It is clear from the legends on his map (below) that he is certainly pro-evolution. On his map, green is "good" (evolutionary).
