Artificial intelligence conference in Aberdeen, Scotland

The Society for the Study of Artificial Intelligence and Simulation of Behaviour (AISB) will hold its annual convention from 1 to 4 April in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Under the theme 'Communication, interaction and social intelligence', delegates from across Europe and the Americas will discuss the role of virtual creatures in a computerised society; brain signals being used to improve computer interfaces; computer games and forensic analysis of text.

The AISB 2008 Convention targets computer science policy-makers, scientists, engineers, and technologists with the aim of addressing the challenges for the future in this area.
